hey Linda, Stop reading those stupid emails the dating sites send you. They are all crap. Get onto the site and LEARN how to use their search features. Do your own searching!! Stop thinking that those sites magically will send you the perfect match. That just isn’t going to happen. It takes you working the site, finding the women who make your smile and making the connection yourself. TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR DATING AND LOVE LIFE.

I have joined match.com and pinkcupid.co but since paying my fee am not that impressed. They send me the same people who I am not not interested in which is frustating!
also lots of people from abroad who dont even meet my criteria, even though I have made it clear I do not want 22yr olds as I am 63 for gods sake I get less from pinkcupid, prob because I have paid for 3months subscription.

I had one of our members bring up the same concern. I like to refer to this crowd as pioneer lesbians because if any of the young girls think they have it tough, these 50 plus lesbians can teach you a thing or two about social acceptance, or lack thereof. My hope is that Lesbianlexicon.org can become more than a dating site, we offer non profits and support organizations with free ad space.
Yes, there is a dating component to the site, but there is also a very large community aspect in the works. When we say it is all about the community, it really is. Lexicon is run by the membership, and unlike the sites listed above ALL site features are free.
On a personal note, I would love to see your section up there. You have my email, please feel free to drop me a note as I would love to include a section for your articles on lexicon… All with backlinks, of course
